Following their hugely successful inaugural year in 2014, the Craft Beer Awards return in 2015. The Craft Beer Awards celebrate the very best of craft beer in Australia: the people, the ingredients, the processes and of course, the beer.
The Craft Beer Industry Association began the Craft Beer Awards to encourage and support excellence in the industry. The competition, held during Sydney Craft Beer Week, is open to all Australian breweries and brewing companies eligible for CBIA membership.
The Craft Beer Awards are an invaluable platform to showcase the continual improvement of Australian craft beer and provide a unique chance for brewers to benchmark themselves against the best in the business.
Entries for the Craft Beer Awards open on Monday 17th August and close Monday 31st August. Entries are now closed.
In 2015 the Craft Beer Awards will accept entries in both draught and packaged formats. Further details can be found in the Entry and Style Guidelines.
Judging will occur in Sydney on the 20th and 21st of October.
The Craft Beer Awards ceremony, a highlight on the annual craft beer calendar, will be held on Friday night the 23rd of October at a yet-to-be-disclosed location where the forward thinking, technically brilliant personalities of the craft beer industry come together to raise a glass to creativity, craft and class. All welcome. Tickets will go on sale shortly.
